Abstract
Careful approximation of the fascial edges is a key in the repair of abdominal incisions. How pertinent these observations are to the clinical situation in which nonabsorbable sutures are generally used is discussed. Some of these factors are germane in both situations and concentration on maintaining a meticulous, accurate and strong fascial approximation may result in a safer, faster and equally strong and less frustrating closure of the abdominal incision in adult beagle dogs. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
