Abstract
The effect of perfusion of a bovine liver in 4 dogs in advanced hepatic insufficiency has been studied. The metabolism of sulfobromophthalein and galactose can be improved during temporary perfusion of such a heterologous liver. The perfusion is associated with acidosis, hypotension and release of heterologous protein. This publication has 29 references indexed in Scilit:
