Abstract
To the Editor: We hope someone can help us solve the following problem.A 51-year-old mentally retarded man with phenylketonuria has had patches of green, only in his scalp hair, for several years. The color intensity varies from bright, light green to being barely visible. It is visible within 1 cm of the scalp and extends out 2 to 3 cm, with the remainder of the shaft blond or gray.
