Abstract
A planar inverted F antenna (PIFA) fed by electromagnetic field coupling, which has the advantage of compactness and simplicity of feeding structure, is presented. Analysis of this rather complicated antenna was successfully carried out by the FD-TD (finite-difference time-domain) method. The effectiveness of this antenna was demonstrated by numerical data of input impedance and radiation pattern.<>Keywords
