Abstract
Fossil shells of testate amoebae, commonly found in Quaternary sediments, provide another key for the interpretation of the recent history of lakes. Outline drawings and details of shell composition provide the micropalaeontologist with a practical guide to the taxonomy of these organisms.Keywords
