Abstract
A new component, nanaomycin E, was isolated from the culture broth of Streptomyces rosa var. notoensis, which produces nanomycins A, B, C and D. Nanomycin E was an epoxy derivative of nanomycin A and was converted into nanaomycin A and 4a-epi-nanomycin B by treatment with sodium hydrosulfite in an acidic aqueous solution. 4a-epi-Nanaomycin B was quantitatively converted into nanaomycin A under alkaline conditions. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
