Three-Dimensional Computer Graphics in Fisheries Science

Abstract
These illustrations of three-dimensional computer-generated graphics depict the emergence of definable areas of fisheries science where computer-drawn images yield a visual feeling for the behavior of multidimensional variables. The images are perspective and orthographic projections of a three-dimensional array of connected points which are used to present the results of computer analysis, thus reducing voluminous amounts of complex data into more easily understood visual images. The examples collected here transform information from computer models into conceptual form for humans.
