Abstract
HeLa cells infected with Semliki Forest virus were exposed to [35S]methionine for 1 min and chased for various periods. The analysis of labeled ribonucleoproteins showed that the viral capsid protein associated first with the large ribosomal subunit in polysomes, from which it was chased to assembling nucleocapsids and to free monosomes.This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
