Abstract
Effective renal whole blood flow steadily diminishes with the exptl. production of chronic anemia of increasing severity in the dog. Effective renal plasma flow on the other hand remains fairly constant until a very severe degree of anemia is produced. The plasma filtered through the glomeruli bears a direct and constant relationship to the amt. of plasma presented to the glomeruli. Tubular function as measured by glucose Tm and PAH Tm shows no change under similar circumstances. Keywords
