Abstract
This note supplements a previous paper on the world distribution of the rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri). While strong public acceptance of the species as a sport and food fish is expected to intensify the propagation and use of wild and domestic strains, no significant extension in naturalized range is anticipated because of environmental limitations.Keywords
