Abstract
The reflexive attitude is a prominent metaphor in phenomenological and hermeneutical inquiry. The reflexive orientation is grounded by the communicative structures and non‐decomposible variables of time, space and movement. By revealing these dimensions as fundamental to knowledge acquisition, a programatic research is developed and a clarification of phenomenology and hermeneutics is offered. Keywords
