Abstract
MERKEL CELL carcinoma (MCC), a neuroendocrine carcinoma of the dermis, is an extremely rare and aggressive malignant neoplasm. This tumor has a high propensity for local recurrence (20%-75%), regional nodal metastases (31%-80%), and distant metastases (26%-75%).1-10 Approximately one third of patients eventually die of their disease.Keywords
