Abstract

Caries-immune saliva produced greater inhibition of oral homofermentative lactobacilli (subgenus Streptobacterium) and less stimulation of oral heterofermentative lactobacilli (subgenus Betabacterium) than caries-susceptible saliva, when tested by well-plate and turbidimetric techniques.
