Abstract
Atypical mycobacterial infections are uncommon, particularly in the spine. The authors present the case of a patient with vertebral osteomyelitis secondary to Mycobacterium chelonae subspecies abscessus that was successfully treated with surgical debridement and stabilization, followed by chemotherapy.Keywords
