Abstract
The gas chromatographic assay for nifedipine was simplified by mixing 1 mL of plasma, 50 µL internal standard, and 950 µL of ethyl ether. After vortexing and centrifugation, the organic layer was transferred and evaporated, then reconstituted with 100 µL of ether. A 10-µL sample was injected into the GC. Several steps as well as the use of special lighting and columns are eliminated in the procedure. This method is determined to be linear, specific, sensitive, precise, and accurate. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
