Assessment of Student and Faculty Learning Styles: Research and Application

Abstract
Our concern as educators for maximizing the knowledge and skill level of students requires us to be sensitive to how students learn. This paper presents the results of an exploratory study that describes the learning styles of students, faculty, and field instructors using Kolb's Learning Style Inventory. Implications for use of the tool in field and classroom experiences are addressed.
