Abstract
By extending a recent calculation of self-diffusion in shearing systems [Cummings et al., J. Chem. Phys. 94, 2149 (1991)] we derive a Green-Kubo formula for the thermal-conductivity tensor in fluids subject to planar Couette flow. These expressions are valid for weak heat flows in strongly shearing fluids.Keywords
