Abstract
Quantum electrodynamics is studied in the approximation suggested by Johnson, Baker, and Willey. The (approximate) Dyson equation of this model is transformed into a second‐order, nonlinear differential equation by the application of a method due, originally, to Green. The solutions of this equation are then studied under various simplifying assumptions. Keywords
