Abstract
A marine sponge, Coscinoderma sp., from the Great Barrier Reef, Australia, contained a new sesterterpene hydroquinone, coscinoquinol (1). The structure was elucidated by one-dimensional and two-dimensional n.m.r. techniques. Cytotoxicity and other biological activities are reported for (1).Keywords
