Abstract
Configuration-interaction integrals connecting various configurations of atomic electrons in Pu I and II have been calculated and their phases determined using nonrelativistic Hartree-Fock radial wave functions. It is shown that the strengths of certain types of these actinide interactions exhibit behavior similar to certain analogous interactions already known for simpler spectra. Keywords
