Abstract
A study of the effects of salmon calcitonin (sCT) infusion on blood sugar and serum insulin levels under basal conditions and after intravenous glucose load in normal subjects is reported. Under basal conditions, a 30 min infusion of sCT at approximately a rate of 1 U/min produced a highly significant increase in the blood sugar (p p pKeywords
