Abstract
The authors present a case of diastematomyelia or congenital separation of the lateral halves of the spinal cord. This was disclosed during excision of a congenital dermal sinus of the 3d lumbar vertebra in a 9-month-old child. There was a paucity of neurologic changes.Keywords
