Abstract
We present a Monte Carlo study of both critical wetting and first-order wetting transitions in an Ising model with a surface field opposite to the magnetization direction in the bulk. ‘‘Profiles’’ of magnetization and energy as well as the surface layer magnetization m1 and susceptibility χ1,1 are obtained and discussed in the light of current theory. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
