Abstract
Injs. of an ant. pituitary prep. which increases liver fat and ketosis in laboratory animals caused a marked increase in the % fat of milk and in total fat produced by dairy cows in declining lactation. The milk vol. was likewise increased during the inj. period. Prolactin injected during a subsequent period increased the milk vol. produced but had no effect on the % fat in milk and only slight effect on total fat produced. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
