Abstract
A perturbation method for quantum mechanical problems is presented in which the successive terms are obtained by algebraic recurrence relations without the use of any diagrams. Two examples, one an anharmonic oscillator with quartic self‐interaction, and one a spin with quadratic self‐interaction, are given to illustrate the use of this recurrence relation perturbation method. Keywords
