Abstract
We derive an expression for the enhancement of metallic thermopower by the electron-phonon interaction, and show that energy, velocity, and relaxation time renormalizations all give the same temperature dependence. An analysis of existing data taken on a series of NiZr glasses confirms the presence of the energy renormalization effect, and is consistent with a small contribution from the other terms. Keywords
