Abstract
Culture of Paramecia aurelia were trained to come to a platinum wire to which adhered a small amount of bacterial food. Other cultures were trained with a sterile wire. Test trials for all cultures were made with a sterile wire Paramecia trained with food reinforcement adhered in statistically significant numbers to the sterile wire on test trials as compared to the cultures which were not reinforced.
