Reaginic Response in Rats to Alum Precipitated Antigens

Abstract
High titers of reagins against egg albumin were obtained in rats using an alum precipitated preparation of the antigen. These titers could be further enhanced by subsequently infecting the rats with the nematode N. brasiliensis. The reaginic response to alum precipitated egg albumin in both infected and noninfected rats appeared to be wholly an IgE response.
