THE BIOLOGY OF CANADIAN WEEDS: 9. Thlaspi arvense L.

Abstract
An account is given of various aspects of the biology of Thlaspi arvense L. This species, commonly known as stinkweed or field pennycress, is found in almost all parts of Canada, but is particularly prevalent as a weed in the cultivated fields of the Prairie Provinces. The paper is one of a series on the biology of Canadian weeds and is concerned primarily with those characteristics of the species which appear to present the main obstacles to its effective control.
