Abstract
High-resolution computed tomography and epidural venography (CT epidural venography) were combined as a means of better demonstrating the morphology [in humans] of the lumbar epidural veins and their location within the spinal canal. Herniated disks in the lumbar region can be seen without intrathecal enhancement, and selective opacification of the epidural veins shows that they can represent a significant component of the soft-tissue deformity described as a herniated disk. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
