Abstract
The theory of a quantized Dirac field in the maximal analytic extension of the Schwarzschild metric is presented. The wave equation and its properties under the continuous and discrete symmetries are reviewed, the Green's function is constructed, and the vacuum state so defined is shown to be stable. The excitations of the system are exhibited and the reduction formulas for the states are given. Keywords
