Abstract
The tooth described here, Ksar 'Aqil 3, is an upper right deciduous molar found in an aurignacian level, which can be dated around 29.000 yrs BP. This tooth probably belonged to a child, approximately 10 years old, a little older than Ksar 'Aqil 1, discovered more than forty years before. No contemporaneous fossil teeth are available for comparison in the Middle East. The occlusal morphology of this tooth, as well as its dimensions fall within the known variation for older or more recent samples.
