Abstract
The chronicle of a cooperative research venture is presented in three sections: the sequence of events and the westem within which the collaboration was sponsored, the pilot mudv and the actual cooperative research proposal. and the stresses and strains of the collaborative process. The vagaries of events, people, and places leading to the scientific review are described, Previous research on which the study proposal was based is described so that the natural evolution of a mudy which extends previous work may be depicted. Interpersonal Problems opportunities, and challenges of colloboration in research are described.
