Abstract
An increased prevalence of diabetes mellitus has been found in relatives of eight probands homozygous for the rare recessive syndrome Fanconi's anemia. Since many of these relatives are expected to be heterozygous for the gene for Fanconi's anemia, this gene may predispose to diabetes in single dose. Keywords
