Granulomatous Reaction to Autologous Hairs Incarcerated During Hair Transplantation

Abstract
Incarceration of autologous hairs resulting in a granulomatous reaction to them is an unusual complication of hair transplantation. The clinical presentation, histology, pathomechanism, and treatment of an instance of this complication are described and discussed.
