Abstract
Wireworms are considered among Europe's most destructive insects, particularly Agriotes lineatus (L.), Agriotes obscurus (L.), and Agriotes sputator (L.). These species have been introduced at certain isolated localities on the East Coast and the first two on the West Coast of Canada. They are known to be particularly widespread in Nova Scotia where they and native Agriotes mancus (Sav) cause cansiderable crop damage. Keywords
