Abstract
A 100 Gbit/s WDM (20 Gbit/s × 5 channels) soliton data signal was successfully transmitted over 10000 km using in-line synchronous modulation and narrow band optical filtering. A four-segment dispersion decreasing configuration was used to reduce the soliton interaction and the dispersive waves.Keywords
