Abstract
Part I of this review dealt with the preparation of sulfenic acid halides. The preparatively important reactions of the sulfenic acid halides are described in Parts IIa and IIb. Part IIa covers: 1. Oxidations and Reductions 2. Sulfurization and Desulfurization 3. Hydrolysis 4. Addition Reactions 5. Addition-Elimination Reactions It is not the aim of this article to give a complete compilation of the literature on all known work on reactions of sulfenic acid halides; rather is it intended to discuss all reaction types and their range of applicability with reference to characteristic examples. Keywords
