Abstract
The effect of grid spacing on the inductances of various paths on a printed circuit board (PCB) is investigated numerically. Partial inductances of the various segments of the paths and the ground grid are incorporated into a lumped model which is solved for the currents using the mesh current method. The results show the importance of maintaining closely spaced conductors in the grid. Keywords
