KLIPPEL-FEIL SYNDROME WITH RENAL AGENESIS AND OTHER ANOMALIES

Abstract
Two cases of Klippel-Feil syndrome are reported, both of which have congenital absence of one kidney and various other anomalies. The syndrome consists of failure of segmentation of the cervical and occasionally the dorsal or lumbar spine with or without numerous other anomalies. The disease is apparently genetically determined. Sprengel’s deformity, which is a frequently associated anomaly, is discussed.
