Abstract
The relative efficacy of sulfacetimide, sulfadiazine, sulfathiazole and mixtures thereof against bacteria responsible for infections of the urinary tract was detd. in vitro by means of the growth inhibition method. A mixture of sulfacetimide and sulfadiazine is particularly effective in vitro, and this combination has proved valuable clinically in more than 100 cases. Keywords
