Abstract
A patent-pending invention for handling reliable and secure broadcasts is presented. This invention guarantees all computers in the network the reception of all broadcast messages in the proper sequence, even though there may be line noise, hardware malfunction, or busy receivers. This makes possible correct distributed database updates, parallel information retrieval, and many other applications. The invention adds four specialized components to existing networks and uses a special communication protocol. It can be applied to both local area and wide area networks. Keywords
