Abstract
For the detn. of oil content it is recommended that samples containing less than 25% molasses should not be washed prior to extraction. The effect on the detn. of sugar of free fatty acid, of drying and of changes in the damp meal was studied. For the detn. of fiber content, it is recommended that the fineness of grinding and the wt. taken for analysis should be stated and the method of agitation should be improved. In the protein detns. 0.5 g. Hg was considered the best catalyst, and 6.1 g. Se was better than CUSO4.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
