Abstract
A novel high-isolation structure for a polarisation-insensitive nonreciprocal device intended for optical circulator application is proposed. It consists of birefringent crystals and polarisation rotators. Experimental demonstration shows an isolation of over 42 dB and an insertion loss of under 1.5 dB.Keywords
