Abstract
The capture -ray spectrum resulting from thermal-neutron capture in has been measured using a 30- Ge(Li) detector and angular-correlation measurements carried out using NaI(Tl) detectors. Some 28 lines corresponding to transitions between levels of were observed, and the neutron separation energy of was determined to be 11.630±0.008 MeV. The following assignments of spins and parities for some levels were made: 2.422(, , ), 3.626(, ), 3.794(, , ), and 4.467(, ). The results of a comparison between the measured strengths of exciting the levels in the () and () reactions are discussed.
