Abstract
Expressions for static and dynamic properties of KD2PO4-type ferroelectric derived by four-cluster analysis are compared with those found from a mean-field treatment of the Ising model. Expressions for critical temperature Tc and static susceptibility for T>Tc are in agreement provided the parameters of the Ising model are suitably interpreted. The deuteron relaxation time is renormalised by a large factor from the value appropriate for a single bond. Keywords
