Abstract
At low hydrogen pressures the emission spectrum of the 3808A band of SrH shows a sharp break-off at , while at high pressures the lines extend to . The presence of lines with high values allows an accurate determination of the constants of the upper state. Analysis shows the presence of an uncoupling term -0.1415 () in the upper state. Perturbations due to resonance and predissociation are present. The electronic configurations and probable dissociation energies are considered.
