Abstract
In some of the female specimens of this new sp. the vagina extends above the vulva, forming a vaginal loop, while in others the vagina is straight. The males possess either 4 or 5 pairs of caudal papillae, recurved posterior end, and subequal spicules. In an examination of 339 crows, the adult stage of this parasite was found more frequently in immature crows than in mature crows. Included is a key to 11 spp. of the genus Splendidofilaria. Keywords
