Abstract
A composite dilatometer for measuring densities of liquids and solids over wide ranges of temperature and pressure is described. The dilatometer has a glass capillary and a mechanically removable seal at the base to facilitate loading. The seal is leakproof, and constant volume is maintained with successive loadings. Keywords
