Abstract
Many-body perturbation theory is applied to calculate double-electron photoionization for helium. While lowest-order results show reasonable agreement with experiment, it is found that certain higher-order correlation effects are significant. Techniques are presented for approximating these effects in a calculation which is first order in electron correlations. Keywords
